Our Ongoing Commitment to Our LHCC Families

We understand that recent events have created uncertainty and fear within our immigrant community. LHCC desires to outline our organization's continued commitment to the families we serve and help to alleviate fears and strengthen community trust. We want to reassure you that our mission remains unchanged: to provide essential scholastic, spiritual and social support services to our Latino families in the Charlotte community.

Despite any external threats, our commitment to the families we serve is unwavering. Our promise to you remains unchanged. We will continue to:

1.     Offer essential program services: We are committed to welcoming immigrant families and providing vital resources like food assistance, health screenings and education, contextual parent training and legal aid referrals.

2.     Protect your privacy: We will never share your personal information without your permission and consent.

3.     Pray for the wellbeing of all our families. Without exception they are here to work hard and provide a better future for their children, one that was very likely not possible where they were born.

Together, we will navigate these challenges and emerge stronger as a community. Our love and care for you and your children remains steadfast as we depend on Our Lord and Savior for protection, insight and direction.

We encourage you to reach out to us with any concerns or questions. On Tuesday, November 19, we had a special guest from Charlotte Center for Legal Advocacy addressing our parents, and answering questions, to alleviate fear and provide another layer of caring, loving support.
